Case Study
Documenting real channel growth on channels that were struggling — driven by higher click-through rates, better thumbnails, and consistent daily content output.
The Work
At Metaverse Industries, I led a team of three editors managing daily content output across 4 large YouTube channels. These were channels that had been struggling to grow — flat view counts, low click-through rates, inconsistent publishing.
The goal was simple: post consistent, quality content every day and build workflows that let a small team do it at scale. The results speak for themselves — 1.2M views, 122% growth, and views from recommendations climbing from 434K to 561K as the algorithm started picking up the content.
Why views were higher than usual: Viewers showed interest by watching longer and the videos appeared more often in YouTube recommendations — a direct result of improved thumbnail strategy and higher content quality.
By The Numbers
This work was done at Metaverse Industries (November 2020 — August 2021), leading a team of three editors across 4 YouTube channels. The channels had been struggling before I joined — flat growth, inconsistent posting, no defined workflow. By implementing daily content pipelines, better thumbnail design, and organized remote file management, we drove continuous channel growth across all four properties simultaneously.
